MORE THAN COLLECTING MOMENTS
Photographer Miri Matsufuji can be seen as a successor to Hiromix and Yurie Nagashima whose casual snapshot style first emerged in Japan in the mid-1990s.
In 2012, Matsufuji collaborated with Evisen Skateboards on a deck titled ‘Yuribo’ that sold-out instantly and which has now been re-released by Evisen along with a small capsule collection of apparel
Isle are known for their creative collaborations, this collection showcases the work of Jenna Westra, a New York based artist working in photography and film.
Street photographer Dave Schubert is known for his self-published zines, and for each edition being a work of art. He says they are a labour of love which he likens to creating a painting. His zine Graffiti Document has inspired a cult following as has his instagram account.
With its strong artistic vision London’s Isle Skateboards have an inherent style. Here they present another collection of graphics created by co-founder and Creative Director Nick Jensen.
PICTURES OF THE FLOATING WORLD
Always keeping a strong link with its national culture, Evisen's graphics are a contemporary and surreal, take on the traditional Japanese artistic technique of Ukiyo-e.
A CREATIVE FORCE LIKE NO OTHER
Each collection released by Polar continues their artistic foundations and diversified aesthetics, which as always take inspiration from their multi-national team of riders.
